If the key goes in but will not turn, the lock may be worn or the key may be broken. We can extract broken keys and rekey or replace the lock on the same visit.
Renters
We will open a rental home if your name is on the lease or your ID shows the address. If your lease requires the landlord to approve lock changes, check with them before we rekey or replace anything.

We check photo ID showing the address, or mail, a lease or a utility bill once the door is open.
Will you have to drill my lock?
Rarely. Most standard knobs and deadbolts open without damage. We tell you before using any destructive method.
Can you make a new key after opening the door?
Yes. We can cut a key to your existing lock or rekey it on the spot.
