We use professional lockout tools made for modern vehicles, including air wedges, long-reach tools and lock-specific picks. Those let us open the door without breaking glass, bending the frame or damaging weather stripping.
Vehicles we open
We open most domestic and Asian cars, pickups, SUVs and vans, including Toyota, Honda, Ford, Chevrolet, GMC, Nissan, Dodge, Ram, Jeep, Chrysler, Hyundai, Kia, Mazda, Subaru, Lexus, Acura and Infiniti. We do not service German vehicles (BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche).
Keys locked in the trunk
If your keys are in the trunk, we usually open a door first and use the interior trunk release or fold-down seats. On cars without either, we pick the trunk lock directly.
Dead battery too?
If the car will not start once you are back inside, ask about a jump start while the technician is there.
Child or pet locked in a car
If a child or pet is inside on a hot day, call 911 first. Emergency services can respond faster than any locksmith. Then call us if you still need help.
Common questions
Will opening my car damage it?
In almost every case, no. We use non-destructive entry tools designed for modern doors and seals. If a car has an unusual lock that would require more, we tell you before doing anything.
How long does a car lockout take?
Once the technician arrives, most cars open in a few minutes. Some newer models with shielded locks take longer.
Do you need proof the car is mine?
Yes. We check a photo ID against the registration or insurance card. If those are locked inside, we verify them once the door is open, before you drive away.
